Last post for tonight...

Okay, gotta be quick!  2 more cards to share and then I NEED to go to sleep.  I'm actually tired tonight and that hasn't happened for about 2 months!

(Find my darling digi HERE for free!)

(You must use markers--I used mine to color in the digi)

(Like my little clouds to create a scene? My new favorite dies!)

Another little pup colored to look like my baby fur girl.  Scrunched up the image and then spritzed it with glimmer mist, sorta flattened it, and then heat dried it.  Layered it on and added all the extras!  I think it's darling!

This card uses a set given to me by a friend that I had yet to use!  I LOVE the vintage lightbulb images and all the darling sentiments that go along with them!  One layer stamped, dry embossed, then a bit of bling!  Easy peasy!

Thanks for stopping by--sorry to be so short!  Happy stamping! :)

Globes & Doggies

Hi, friends!  It's coming down to the wire for us to leave, and so I am trying very hard to get all my cards posted!  You may hear a lot from me tonight...let's get started!  I'm doing 2 cards per post right now so I can show these things off! ;)

Here's my first card for this post~

For these fabulous challenges~

I had TONS of fun with this card!   As soon as I saw the colors at CASF, I KNEW I had to use my new globe stamp sent to my from my dear blogging friend, Katy, from a Jillybean Soup set.  The sentiment is from Stampin' Up!  I also knew I wanted to watercolor and use my homemade glimmer mist to add paint splatters.  A large layered pennant seemed appropriate and some dry embossed gears by Tim Holtz as a background and to add texture for the white on white, a bit of bling and there it is! ;)  And now onto another card!

Here it is~

This one was so fun to make--I colored the doggie to look like my sweet fur baby then added some glitter glue for some added interested.  Layered it onto fun summery paper and added a sentiment and some bling and there you go!

Thanks for taking some time out of your day to come and look at my cards--your kind words and encouragement mean the world to me!  Happy stamping, friends! :)

TSOT: Ribbon on the Top

Hello again!  We've got another fabulous sketch for you over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday!  I think you'll really like it--it's a great opportunity to show us your mad bow skills and to get rid of some of that patterned paper you're hoarding--you KNOW it's true!

Here's the sketch~

Hope you like it!  I got to use one of my favorite all time quotes from a Jane Austen novel thanks to the PTI set Simply Jane.  LOVE it!!!  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you come and join us!  Don't forget to go and show some love to the other DT ladies--they've done a great job again this week!  Happy stamping! :)

LIM Sketch: Take 2--Tres Inky!

Yep.  I got inky!  I've been having lots of fun playing around with ink, and so, as I wasn't too happy with my Take 1, I decided to play with the sketch again, this time turning it and using a bit more of an artsy technique.

Here's the card~

For these fabulous challenges~

(Thanks for this one--I used a sentiment I've never used before!)

(Water coloring and spritzing is soooo much fun!)

This one was so much fun!  I stamped my silhouette floral image and then water colored my inks over the top.  I then sprayed some of my homemade glimmer mist (made with metallic paints and water) just a bit and dried the panel most of the way.  After doing this, I ran it through a dry embossing folder to add some more interest.  A few rhinestones as well for a bit of pizazz.  Layered it onto the card and then added my pennant sentiment and there you have it! :)  Can you see the bird?  I hope so--it looks so pretty in real life!

Okay, let's take a look at another fruit card, shall we?  Made with the same Fiskars stamp set called Fresh Fruit, this is another super fun and CAS card. :)

Here it is~

For these fabulous challenges~

(I hope this is cute enough...I rather think
the sentiment is darling!)

(I've been really into CAS and am trying
to perfect my technique as well as working
on paper masking technique)

So much fun using these bananas!!!  Instead of glossy accents, as I don't really perceive bananas as "juicy", I used some glitter!  And of course, a few rhinestones!  I've made another banana card as well, going the other way, but you'll have to wait to see it. ;)

Thanks for stopping by--hope you can come and play along at these fun challenges!  Happy stamping! :)

Less is More: Sketch Take 1

Firstly, I'd like to apologize ahead of time.  I shall be MIA for a bit as I've got a family wedding to attend and so I will be leaving my craft area (MINI PANIC ATTACK) and my sweet puppy (GIANT PANIC ATTACK) who has  never been away from us since we got her 2 years ago and be gone for a while.  I'm trying to be happy about it, I'll get to see family I haven't seen in years, but I will so miss all of you and your fabulous creations!  I've already had to spend less time than I'd like with you all, as I've been trying to step it down a bit so it's not huge withdraw when it happens.  So, please know that I am not purposefully ignoring any of you and will try to get back into the swing of things...

Secondly, I've made two cards with this week's Less is More sketch, but I'm partial to one of them and so am saving it for it's very own post! ;)  This post is to showcase the first card that I made with this sketch.

Here's the card~

For these fabulous challenges~

(I've used floral, dry embossing, favorite color--I ADORE yellow tulips!)

I was able to use a new wood grain dry embossing folder from Crop Stop winnings. :)  I also used a stamp set that I purchased a few months ago and still had yet to use, so I also got that out.  Stamp, emboss, add, sparkle, and, voila! ;)

I have another bunch of cards made with my Fiskars Fresh Fruits set as well, but those will have to wait a bit.  I'm short on time and have to share something with you when I'm away from home1 ;)  Happy stamping--come back soon for my other LIM card!!!
