Paper Sweeties January 2016 Inspiration Challenge

Hi, friends!  It's time for another new monthly challenge for Paper Sweeties!  We have some fun inspiration for your crafting mojo...take a peek...

I just LOVE the fun wintry colors and that cupcake looks DELICIOUS, don't you think?!  I was inspired by both these things.  Come and see my take...

For this card, I used the Sending Sweet Thoughts stamp set and Sending Sweet Thoughts Sweet Cuts dies.  I also used the Be Happy Sweet Cuts dies for the banner, the Holly Days Sweet Cuts dies for the snowflakes, and some Robin Egg and Silver sequins.

I added a few fake flowers to balance out the cupcake.  I think this card turned out pretty darling, and I hope you do, too!  I'd love for you to leave me a comment below and let me know your thoughts!

That's all for me, friends!  Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by!  I hope you come and join in the fun with us this month, and don't forget to check out the other DT makes!

Here's you list~

I'll be back later this month with some more Paper Sweeties creations!

Great Impressions: Winter Mice

Well, friends, happy Monday!  I hope you had a WONDERFUL Christmas day!  Even though the holiday is over, it's still cold and wintry outside here and so I am still in the mood for wintry images on my cards.  I used a DARLING image and GORGEOUS frame from the Great Impressions online store on my creation today, and I think you'll really like it!  Take a peek...

The image I used is called F251 Build a Snowman.  I stamped it and then colored it in with colored pencils and glitter gel pens.  I added some Stickles for the snow.

I heat embossed K107 Snowflake Frame onto some patterned paper to add to the card base and act as a frame to this image.  I LOVE the silver on blue!  SO wintry!

The only thing left to add was some ribbon and a fun bow.  I layered a snowflake punch and gem onto the bow for added interest.  I think this is totally darling, and I hope you agree!  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Holiday Wishes!

Hello, friends!  Merry Christmas Eve!  I'm here sharing one last creation before the big day--and it's super fun with a wintry color scheme!  It also uses a fun Monthly Card Kit from The Stamps of Life!  Take a peek...

This card uses stamps, dies, papers, and embellishments from the September 2015 Card Kit.  I LOVE the fun papers and stamps that come in these kits!  The embellishments and dies are also fabulous--this is an AMAZING deal for anyone looking for an all in one kit that comes monthly!  This kit came with a fun holiday stamp set, papers, and this AWESOME label die that I used to die cut out the sentiment!  SO CUTE!

I kept the colors simple on this card--the blues made me happy because it reminds me of the winter season, and this card could be used for ANYONE who celebrates ANYTHING during this holiday!  Therefore, this is my card for all of YOU--my fabulous blogging friends!  Happy holidays! :)

I'd like to enter this card into these fabulous challenges~

Thank you so much for stopping by today and throughout the past year, friends!  I am so appreciative of the support you all show to me, even when I am unable to reciprocate as I'd like to!  I hope you all have a WONDERFUL HOLIDAY WEEKEND and a BLESSED NEW YEAR!  Sending many HUGS to each and every one of you! :)

Great Impressions: Christmas Cheer

Ho ho ho!  It's getting closer to the BIG day, and I'm back on this chilly (in the Northern Hemisphere) Monday with another card using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  I've got another fun CAS holiday card to share with you today.  Come and see...

I LOVE this beautiful image--H205 Christmas Mistletoe.  I simply stamped them directly onto the white card base, then added some white Glaze gel pen to the berries for some shine.

The focal point of the card is the sentiment, though.  This one, A151 Cheer, is *NEW* in the store this month!  I LOVE the graphic fonts and perfect size!  It was punched out then layered with different textures of specialty paper.  Some sequins and liquid pearls frame it and add holiday shine!

I am REALLY liking the way this card turned out--I hope you do, too!  I would love to hear your thoughts on it in the comments below.

Vintage + Clean & Simple Santa Card

Ho ho ho!  Happy holidays to all of my crafty friends out there!  Today I'm sharing a quick, CAS Christmas card that's pretty no fuss and perfect for a last minute cards to send out or accompany gifts. :)  It uses a beautiful image from Red Rubber Designs that I am in LOVE with, too!  Take a peek!

This image is actually found two different ways in the Red Rubber Designs shop.  The first is alone as the Vintage Santa Cling Mount Stamp.  The second is to buy it in the Vintage Santa Unmounted Rubber Stamp Set.  It's SO beautiful and large--it is PERFECT as a stand alone on any card or other paper craft.  All I had to do for this card was to stamp it in brown ink onto a kraft card base!

I decided to keep the embellishments simple, so this card would be great to give to a man in your life.  I just added a few strips of washi tape, a layered snowflake, and a few sequins.  I kept with just a POP of red and silver among the gold in order to keep the main focus on the gorgeous image.

After stamping and adding embellishments, all I had to do was round a few corners in order to make the card seem more finished.  I think that it turned out beautifully, and I hope you do, too!  Please leave me a comment below and let me know what you think of my card!

I'm entering my card into these fabulous challenges~

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends!  That's all I have for you right now, but I'll be back later on with more paper crafted creations for your viewing pleasure!  Until then, HUGS and happy stamping, all! :)

Happy Mail Flip-It Card

Hi, all!  I'm back with another fun flip-it card made using *NEW* stamps and fun dies and papers from The Stamps of Life!  Check it out...

I used the Sizzix Rectangle Flip-It die set for the card base, then decorated it with papers from the Smile Collection Patterned Paper Pad, the *NEW* happymail2stamp set, Mail Box dies, and *NEW* Grass die.  I added a few blue sunflower rhinestones for sparkle, along with some glitter glue.

For the inside, I added a die cut sentiment and kept lots of space to write a quick note. I think this turned out pretty cute, don't you?  I'd love for you to let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

I'd like to enter my card into these fabulous challenges~

Thank you so very much for stopping by today!  That's all I have for now, but I'll be back later with more cards and paper crafts for ya!  Until then, HUGS and happy stamping! :)
